LaSalette Shrine, Attleboro, MA
Wednesday, November 30, 2011 - 4:30 PM
It’s that time of year again! This year’s theme is “LIGHT OF LIFE” at LaSalette Shrine. The Christmas Festival of Lights is LaSalette’s gift to God’s people who wish to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Just as Christ is the “Light of the World” and Mary was surrounded by “dazzling light” when she appeared at LaSalette in 1846. Does anyone know what LaSalette means? LaSalette is the name of a village in the French Alps where Mary, the Mother of
Jesus appeared to two children in 1846 and shared a message of reconciliation. We invite
everyone to come and see the beautiful one million Christmas lights. Enjoy a concert by
Father Pat at 7:00 PM, tour the new gift shop and cafeteria, sip on hot cider and hot
chocolate. Cost of the bus trip is $5.00. The bus will leave at 4:30 PM and will return
between 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Call the center at 272-7474 to reserve your spot.
